Migraine Miracle® is an idea that came to life as a magical surprise. Actually, the idea was given to me from my mother who I lost nearly 17 years ago. The weekend after she passed away, I was watching a television news show about an esthetician with clients who suffered from migraine headaches. She was constantly asked if there was anything really cold that could be placed on their heads. She used eye gel packs which helped some, but these did not stay cold long enough. I said to my husband Gary, “marble or a granite stone would work because it stays cold for a long time – you can even make ice cream on cold marble.” He responded, “You’re right, that is a really good idea.”
IT STUCK WITH ME!
I could not get this idea off my mind, and I now believe it was my mother guiding me in this direction. It is something I don’t question – I just accept it. I continue to feel her guidance all along throughout this adventure of bringing Migraine Miracle® to light.
I have been a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist for over two decades. My specialty has been focused on pregnancy massage, labor massage, infant massage, and being a Doula.
Migraines were not something I dealt with very often in my specialty massage therapy practice.

I began doing a ton of research on migraine and headaches to learn everything that I could. I was shocked to learn how many people actually suffer with this debilitating pain. Over 50 million people go to the doctor or emergency room every year for this specific ailment.
I learned that most doctors have little or nothing to offer patients other than drugs. Of course, being a massage therapist, I was looking more for natural remedies -- not easy to find. Migraines are commonly looked upon at as neurological and vascular issues.

I hired a Master Aromatherapist to develop specific proprietary aromatherapy blends for treating even the most common types of headaches. Research has taught me that the top four types of migraines mostly come from food allergies, environmental agitation, stress/caffeine addiction, and hormonal imbalances. The right aromatherapy can actually alter a headache physiologically by calming the brain.
the ideas come to life
As Migraine Miracle® aromatherapy went into research & development, and I went off in search of a stone maker who could fabricate shapes of marble to fit very specific areas of the face and occiput (behind the head at the neck). This became a difficult find because most marble manufacturing is done by machine for floors, sinks and counter tops. I received some odd looks when I told people I was going to place marble stones on faces and neck areas, but I finally found a master stone maker who agreed to make them by hand. Perfect and natural! I handed over my detailed drawings, and the work began. I also discovered the marble would need to be 36º to be the absolute best temperature for reducing blood vessel swelling. Keeping the stones in the refrigerator would work perfect.
